A site that held DA 45 in 2024 may have dropped to 40 by 2026 without losing a single backlink, simply because the model changed the weighting of certain link signals. A domain with DA 55 and DR 40 is telling you something: industry research’s model weights some signals differently than Ahrefs’. That gap is not an error.
